Editorial Policy

Editorial Policy – TAIJA

At TAIJA – Tatwachintanam: International Journal of Ayurveda, the editorial process is guided by principles of academic rigor, transparency, and integrity. Every manuscript submitted undergoes a structured evaluation process before publication.

Initial Editorial Screening

  1. Scope and Methodology Check:
All submissions are first assessed by the editorial team to ensure that:
    • The article aligns with the journal’s aims and scope (Ayurvedic surgical disciplines and related foundational sciences).
    • The methodology is scientifically sound and ethically compliant.

Articles failing to meet these criteria are rejected without review.

  1. Formatting and Guideline Compliance:
Manuscripts that do not follow TAIJA’s submission and formatting guidelinesare returned to the authors for correction and resubmission before peer review can commence.
  2. Plagiarism and AI Content Check:
The editorial team conducts a strict plagiarism and AI-generated content screening.
Submissions with unacceptable similarity index or use of generative AI content are rejected outright.

Peer Review and Editorial Decisions

  • Manuscripts that pass the initial checks are sent for double-blind peer review.
  • After receiving reviewers’ comments, the Executive Editorevaluates the reports and makes the initial decision in consultation with subject-specific editors.
